We are currently working on our third and final year to achieve our Biodiversity flag. We have elected a new Green schools Committee. They have had their first meeting and can’t wait to get stuck in! These are a few of the highlight which we hope to achieve this term:
- A bug hotel
- An area set aside for no mowing and left for biodiversity to flourish fenced off.
- A Halloween costume swap
- A cycle to school (as soon as weather permits!)
- Bird watching to see if our numbers on last years bird watch have increased
- Garden harvesting and clearing
- Planting conkers and acorns and planting out our small trees from last year
