Children from 1st and 2nd Classes took up the challenge during Engineers’ Week of constructing a bridge strong enough to support four toy cars.
Working in groups, the children were given materials including lollipop sticks, string, paper clips, Blutac and elastic bands.
During the challenge the children learned the skills of working as a team and also how to adapt when things didn’t go to plan.
The children put in a huge effort and all the bridges stood up to the four car challenge!
